Well, the Thought Police are at it again. Apparently in my absence from Facebook, the usual clique of breeders have started their mob attack against me: at least they’re not attacking little old ladies this time. Really brave characters, cyber-bullying while their prey is away.
It doesn’t help that I’m a bit mouthy and opinionated… If you question their dogmatic (and frankly, incorrect) views they will attack you all over the internet. But let’s not dwell on the animosity- even if their darts do sting.
I’m really not sure what the correct response is… So if you’re reading this, let’s agree in prayer that this spirit of bitterness is bound, their hearts are opened and God’s Holy Spirit is allowed to heal and restore! And let’s claim this scripture!
JPS Tanakh 1917
1A Song of Ascents; of David.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brethren to dwell together in unity!
2It is like the precious oil upon the head,
Coming down upon the beard;
Even Aaron’s beard,
That cometh down upon the collar of his garments;
3Like the dew of Hermon,
That cometh down upon the mountains of Zion;
For there the LORD commanded the blessing,
Even life for ever.
And let’s focus on some good things!
Here in Western Colorado we’ve had gorgeous precipitation- that was severely harsh on freshly shorn ewes- but it is so green and lush now. The ewes are regaining the condition they lost in the storms, and the lambs are fit and strong. The mature ewes are nearly done lambing and the yearlings are trickling in with their later sired lambs.
There is much more good to report, but I need to go milk still (skiving off a bit, since people began reporting to me that the internet was abuzz with attacks against me) and then shear some ewes for my neighbors before I move the flock to their next rotation. Tomorrow begins herding the flock from horseback.
What praiseworthy things are happening for you? Rejoice!
Walk in the fullness of God’s love today! May everything you put your hand to do be blessed and your words and actions glorify Him.
